Designed specifically for curtain wall systems, Curtainboard™ delivers dependable fire protection and thermal performance without adding unnecessary weight to the assembly. At just 3.5 lbs/ft³ — the lightest board in the PowerWool line — and available in thicknesses from 1″ to 8″ and panel sizes up to 36″ x 48″, it moves easily through installation on glass and metal panel systems.
PowerWool™ Curtainboard™ helps create safer, quieter, and more resilient buildings by resisting fire, repelling moisture, and maintaining stable R-4-per-inch thermal performance over time. It’s currently approved for use in Canada, and suitable for substitution in rated ASTM E119 wall assemblies.
