At 4 lbs/ft³ and available in thicknesses from 1″ to 8″ and panel sizes up to 36″ x 48″, it offers a balanced option for assemblies that need a bit more body without moving to a high-density board.
PowerWool™ Curtainboard™ 40 helps create safer, quieter, and more resilient buildings by resisting fire, repelling moisture, and maintaining stable R-4.2-per-inch thermal performance over time. It’s approved for use in Canada and the U.S., and suitable for substitution in rated NFPA 285 and ASTM E119 wall assemblies.
